Susi
I worked in Accounting most of my professional life. In 2010 I decided I needed to formalise this experience and enrolled at Massey University to study for a Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in Accountancy. I graduated in 2013 with this Degree. My aim is to help small businesses take care of their Bookwork and I am doing this with as much or little help as is required. We know that "one size does not fit all" and are thus happy to work in with what works best for you.
I am a member of the New Zealand Tax Agents Institute (ATAINZ) which ensures professional and ethical service. I am passionate about the community I live in and have been involved as Treasurer of numerous non-profit organisations, currently serving as Treasurer of Bizlink Hawera and Basketball Taranaki (formerly Hawera Football Club, Hawera Basketball Association, St Joseph's Hawera Board of Trustees and Hawera Golf Club). I am serving as a Board member of the Trinity Old Age Village.
Recently I experience my mid-life crisis (seems to happen every 10 years), and decided to do my Motorbike Licence. I love exploring our stunning country with my husband and family that are also into biking.

On the first of June I swapped out my gumboots and overalls for a pair of dress shoes and a collar shirt to join Susi full time after having worked part time in the business for the last 2 years. Being involved in the dairy industry for the past 10 years in positions ranging from relief milking to farm management, I have an understanding of what is involved in the successful running of a farming operation as well as the challenges any business owner faces on a day-to-day basis. Combining these two passions, farming and working on the numbers behind the scenes, I made the jump to accounting. Thereby, growing the business into new territory of agriculture and advice.
I am currently completing a Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in accountancy and personal financial planning while working in the accountancy practice. Together with my previous degree in Agri-commerce, Susi and I believe that this will help enable us to give you a more well-rounded and comprehensive service. This can range from simple compliance to forecasting and budgeting as well as advice on how to get the most out of your business, so you can enjoy working on the land as well as the things that are most important to you off farm.
Outside of work, I am passionate about basketball and everything the game has to offer. I am currently the treasurer of Stratford Basketball as I want to give back to the game that has given me so much.
Taya
Hi my name is Taya, I joined Hipp Accounting Ltd in April
2022 as a Trainee Accountant. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Accounting
so being part of the team at Hipp Accounting Ltd gives me an opportunity to
gain some practical experience and to put my learning to use. After I’ve
completed my studies, I would love to eventually become a Chartered Accountant.
I am a part of the Hawera Volleyball Club and often help coach the Local
Highschool Teams. In my free time I enjoy playing sports and being involved in
the community.
