SusiI love helping people stay on the right side of tax laws and establishing orderly accounting systems. I make sure you don't have to stress about the confusing stuff, like tax rules and managing money, so you can focus on what you're good at - running your business. I worked in Accounting most of my professional life. In 2010 I decided I needed to formalise this experience and enrolled at Massey University to study for a Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in Accountancy. I graduated in 2013 with this Degree.
I am passionate about the community I live in and have been involved as Treasurer of numerous non-profit organisations, currently serving as Treasurer of Bizlink Hawera, Basketball Taranaki and Lions District 202D (formerly Hawera Football Club, Hawera Basketball Association, St Joseph's Hawera Board of Trustees and Hawera Golf Club). I am serving as a Board member of the Trinity Old Age Village and am a proud member of our local Lions Club.
Recently I experienced my mid-life crisis (seems to happen every 10 years), and decided to do my Motorbike Licence. I love exploring our stunning country with my husband.

I pride myself in being able to look beyond what happened in the past 12 month and put into place the tools and strategies to get more out of your business, whether that is greater profits, larger scale or less time at work.
I spent 10 years in some capacity in the dairy industry as well as completing a bachelor of Agribusiness from Massey University in 2015. In 2021 I swapped out my gumboots and overalls for a pair of dress shoes and a collared shirt to join Susi in Hipp Accounting. I have always had a passion for the numbers behind the farm, so after winning the award for financial planning in the 2019 Dairy industry awards it seemed like a logical leap. Thereby, growing the business into new territory of agriculture and business advisory.
I graduated from Massey University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in Accountancy and a minor in personal financial planning.
Outside of work, I am passionate about sport, in particular basketball and tennis. It is crucial for me to have this balance between my physical and mental well being. This also allows me to give back as the treasurer of Stratford Basketball and committee member of the Hawera lawn tennis and squash rackets club.
Outside of work and sports I love spending time with my son Arthur and wife Felicity. Becoming a father in 2022 is still one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and also one of my biggest personal drivers to keep improving and growing.
TayaBefore joining Hipp Accounting I worked for Kautu-Ki-Te-Rangi Kohanga Reo as an administrator. As much as I enjoyed being in the early childhood industry, I didn’t feel it was going to turn into a passion of mine. In 2022 I started studying a Bachelor of Accounting and was fortunate enough to be hired on as a Trainee Accountant by Hipp Accounting.
